Author Topic: █ Hey guys, hook me up and have a few $ █  (Read 3168 times)

there is maybe 1gram of silver in a dime. worthless if its in the dime.
legal modern currency dosnt have the magic pricing that a 1900 silver dollar would have.

plus these guys do not have $1000 worth of silver coins. maybe you could get a bulk sale at a pawn shop. but you walk in with 2 modern dimes demanding silver shot and you will be slapped.

pawn shops will not pay spot price for 90% silver of a single unit.  yes it can be measured, but they will not do it to non-bullion. its legal tender currency.

Silver coins are valued by a certain times their actual monetary value, they are currently worth about 25x their actual monetary value, so a dime would be $2.50 a half dollar would be $12.50 etc. A pawn shop would gladly pay 10x because that leaves them x15 profit. And it doesn't matter at all, as long as they are during the time they were made out of 90% silver.

When I looked at the title first I thought you were talking about prostitution, loving lol

I have a quarter with an S on it somewhere..

it should say somewhere on them ".925" meaning sterling.
and silverware usually is brand name, should have stamps of the company and MIGHT indicate if its solid or plate
They say 800 I think.

yes visage we know silver costs more then nickel and copper.

now give me a list of blockland kids who before this topic, searched for, saved, and are selling them?

yes im ripping them off by being 1 of a million ways to better use their chump change.
as apossed to kicking coins in the street, they can profit off bisjac. shame on bisjac indeed.

grow up dude. i bet you are one of them people messaging ebay stores all the time bitching about how another store has an item for cheaper. lol. ive seen those people.
the world just dosnt work that way bro.

I'm just letting them know they can walk to a pawn shop and get 10x the value at least, probably more, and you want them to mail the coins to you to give only double. You're an idiot thinking they'd even do it in the first place but I had a good laugh at you only offering 2x the value.

Funny thing was alot of people were considering it.

well you can go ahead and lecture us all on how to make money then mr business man.
you see a few gold commercials and think its really that easy lol

you pay high premiums and get cut out from high premiums unless you have huge bulk. pawn shops do not pay anything near spot. not even for straight bullion. and especially not for the dozen coins they bring in.

search the net for silver and gold bullion. you are overpaying for small amounts by nearly 25%
bigger/bulk = less premium
how the hell do you think businesses earn money anyways?

if a blocklander sent be 100 bucks worth of 1964 dimes, i would easily give him $2000,00
but no. im expecting these guys here to have 30 cents at most

I sold $40 or so worth of silver coins for x23 so even $2000 for $100 worth of silver dimes is a rip off. I can understand you are mad that I am helping these people at your expense but you're a self-proclaimed millionaire I'm sure you'll get over it.

well let me know how many you help.
ive gotten 3 for sures here that still arent backing out because of your fit.

lol i would love to see someone walk into a pawn shop with 4 dimes. jesus christ lol. they more then likely would turn you away
you cant even get the proper prices on ebay even with free shipping. thats how it works

I looked through all the change in my house and found a quarter that was 1966. Fail :(

No food for you tonight.

Hey bisjac I might have some business for you. My dad is an expert in this and he has coins like this and may be able to sell you something. But on the other hand are you looking for the value of the silver as an pre 1964 coins or bullion?

mostly coins.

my bullion buys come from the same few sites i always use.
