I've been diagnosed with ADHD and Depression but since I don't have health insurance due to the state having dropped me because we don't have a "low enough income" I can't afford any medication.
Holy stuff that sucks, bro.

Yes, really.

It's such bullstuff.  Most people don't have it and just blame it as not putting effort into their work.
Yeah it's true. My brother does that a lot. But he can never pay attention and homework with him is a pain.

depression shouldn't even be considered a medical condition
Now you're going a bit far.

Oh by the way, rockslide dude, if you snort ritalin you get a wicked rush. Just throwing it out there.

Why...?
because it's not something that can be diagnosed
if you're sad, by god, you're sad
if you just wanna kill yourself, forget the doctor, if you're not depressed then you're not depressed

Then the pulling facts from your ass continued.

Today I had to take a test and I wrote my name and caught myself staring off into space twenty minutes later, with one problem done. ADHD makes class so difficult, having to sit down in the same place for close to an hour and listen to the professors drone on and on about the same thing. The fact  have Schizoprhenia and OCD doesn't help much, because there's always something to take my attention away that is not ADHD or school related. Trying to pay attention for so long is like trying to thread a needle with frayed thread. Not all of the thread will go through, therefore the goal was not accomplished, though an effort was made.

Holy stuff that sucks, bro.

Yeah, but what can I realistically do about it? Absolutely nothing.

that is not depression

Then the pulling facts from your ass continued.
I haven't mentioned any facts yet, besides that ritalin is a horrible medication
that is not depression
what is love depression?

Baby don't hurt me.

ritalin's worse than the imaginary thing they prescribe it for
10/10 have my medical license.
Ritalin is awful and ADHD is just an exude to prescribe drugs to energetic kids.

I can't tell if this is sarcastic or not
the first sentence says yes but the second says no
Baby don't hurt me.

Depression has physiological factors in it; It is an actual mental disorder and can be properly diagnosed if doctors take time and effort with their patients, and patients search for more than just the "simplest" (Or what they think to be the simplest) route to go. Granted, the latter might be difficult for those who actually have it, but you get the idea.

Over diagnosis is what discredits issues like this and ADHD, which symptoms lies close to "typical" behaviors (Usually to just a higher extent). And that is where the problem lies: people are so quick to jump to conclusions. Patients go to the doctor to get medication, many times there are no ifs, ands, or buts. Doctors become vehicles for legal drug obtainment. This is an extreme case, but once more, you get the picture. The same can be applied to parents who are convinced there is something wrong with their child. And even professionals are perfectly willing to trust a test that may as well be in magazine sitting outside of their office. It's quite a shame, honestly, as it can only hurt most people involved. Those that actually have these are typically put into a general grouping of "Well, they might need help, but who knows." and those that don't are taking medication they don't need.

And also, "Feeling sad"  isn't depression and any doctor who prescribes medication for a normal human emotion probably isn't the most experienced or the most caring. :U
