Also this is coming from a guy who loved this genre originally, but it's become about WUB WUB WUB WAHH WAHH LISTEN TO MY COOL MUSIK WAHH WUbBBBB bBBbb and it's bad and you are funding stuff.
oh look you ninja'd.
guess what bro. if you actually paid attention to what we post in this thread, you'd realize that probably only 2% of it is "WUB WUB WUB WAHH WAHH LISTEN TO MY COOL MUSIK WAHH WUbBBBB bBBbb." also, if you actually paid attention to the electronic music world, you'd realize that probably only 2% of it is "WUB WUB WUB WAHH WAHH LISTEN TO MY COOL MUSIK WAHH WUbBBBB bBBbb." the "WUB WUB WUB WAHH WAHH LISTEN TO MY COOL MUSIK WAHH WUbBBBB bBBbb" you're thinking of is skrillex. but even skrillex isn't that bad. I'm not a big fan of him, but he makes some pretty loving lovey electro.
A-a-a-are you dense? I have a pretty good idea of how electronic music is made, and in my opinion it takes just as much skill to create electronic music as it does to compose instrumental music. That's not the argument I'm bringing up, in fact I think that argument is loving dumb as dirt.
k then how is it made
In your 'third' point, you badly defended something I didn't even bring up. Also you are wrong. 'DJ' is an all encompassing term for people who are in charge of playing the music for a concert. If Deadmau5 is in concert and he is playing music, he is the DJ.
no, actually, you're wrong. deadmau5 has personally said that he hates the term "DJ" because it's not what he is. a "disc jockey" is someone who places CDs or records onto a CDJ, turntable, or whatever other DJ'ing platform they might be using, and mixes the songs on the CDs together, or plays them separately. that's DJ'ing. when deadmau5 plays at a concert of his, he plays his songs through his computer, and uses several different devices to alter the way they're outputted. he doesn't use CDJs or turntables. trust me, I've been to a deadmau5 concert.
I didn't say you aren't listening to it I'm saying LISTEN pay attention to the buildups, the breakdowns, the details inside of the music, how repetitive is it?, etc. I found that when I actually LISTENED to the music I realized it was far too repetitive and grinding to spark any sort of interest or enjoyment.
hey
hey bro
guess what
I do that when I listen to any music, be it electronic or not. also, what you call "repetitive" is actually what makes electronic music what it is. in fact, all music is repetitive. the human brain likes repetition, both in composition and in listening.
But yes I'm bashing it because it's objectively bad. I've never known anyone who hasn't grown out of the wubstep genre.
"I'm going to stuff all over this because I think it's bad and that people should stop liking it waaaahhhhhh!!!!!"
also, stop generalizing so goddamn much. I can't loving stand it when people like you generalize as much as you are.
