Hi, all! My good friend GenesisMusic just released his song called "Peace", an extremely chill DnB song (and he's only 14, jesus christ!). I highly suggest you check him out on Soundcloud; I seriously listen to this song like every day.

i think i might start making stuff after doom hits.

I actually don't like it at all, sorry
The original synth is a bit overly detuned in comparison to the vocals, and is pretty bland to be filling the entire first few measures, I would at least put some thirds into the chord instead of plain octaves. The rhythm that you are using them in is a little bit vague to be standalone as well. The piece does not at all reflect the original. Also, at the ending of the clip it seems a little bit out-of-sync.

Then again, I don't like anything that's been posted recently; I barely enjoy the Kill Paris one at all and I downright dislike "Peace," without even accounting for the fact that Genesis was already taken as a very popular band name.

thank you for the criticism. firstly, I tried different intervals with the synth and they didn't sound good at all, probably due to the detuning, but I'm keeping the detuning, so yeah. secondly, I don't know what you mean by "standalone" in terms of the rhythm. thirdly, it's not supposed to reflect the original very much except for the melodies/chords and maybe the rhythm, that's the entire point of a remix. lastly, I don't know what you mean by "out of sync."
