I almost went into SP last night.

What I did was chakra meditation, and once I started seeing imagery, I just focused on it and completely ignored the meditation. It's really cool: I saw a blue illusion-looking tunnel thing but I saw a face and woke up. :o Yay I am getting close.

What should I focus on when in bed?
I always fall asleep

what you need is a good wild anchor my boy

There are many different ones. You could focus on mental imagery, your breathing, heartbeat if you can, focus on physical feelings, "chakras", etc.

A chakra is like this meditation buddhist thing that works ok for me but yeah you focus on this spot on your forehead where the pineal gland is on the brain. Some scientists say the pineal gland gives off menatonin or something which makes dreams nad ayayaya

Once I had a lucid dream having to do with aliens.  Only happened once.

I've tried focusing on playing terraria, but then my fingers move
Then I sleep

Will complete and utterly hopeless insanity work? And how do I know that I am in sp when I don't feel anything on my chest?

You will know when you are in sleep paralysis. Some people feel pressure in their chests, some don't.

Try focusing on something your body is actually doing, don't imagine playing a game or something.

Unless you are VILDing or something.

Don't know what that is, but how do I tell when I'm in sp?
All I feel are my arms and legs relaxing in an sp like way but nothing else indicates full sp

Eh.

What I do when that starts to happen is look at mental imagery. When your eyes are closed and you start seeing stuff (I see blue blotches moving around), just observe them. Not too closely, but just notice them float by or do something. Eventually you'll feel something (I always feel a big dip) and the imagery will become more vivid and dramatic. When this happens you will start to feel the effects of SP.

I tried again last night, but I just fell asleep :C

Either pay more attention to the imagery, or if keeps happening (the stairs bro), just go to another method.

It might be that you are too tired, though. Most people when they are very drowsy just try to WILD and fall asleep because they just need the sleep.

I never feel tired. What other methods are there?
