even without grinding or exp share you can reach korrina with a level 32 team, and level them up to 36 easy peasy!

It's got more weaknesses that are seemingly carried by more things and it doesn't get STAB on Double-Edge anymore

Moonblast is alright but I feel like everyone's got Fairy-resistant teams to counter the general hype

Her fighting resistance is really useful, especially because she doesn't have great defenses. I personally think it's an upgrade, especially because I tend to use a special-oriented Clefable. Also, she got a boost in Special attack, so I think she's more viable than ever.

Fairy type is beneficial to her overall, and that is definitely why you're seeing it the other way. I'm running Sludge Bomb over Spore on my Amoonguss on wifi doubles just so I can slam the hyped fairies for supereffective damage, even though Spore is such a good move. Also a popular/amazing doubles Pokemon is Togekiss. Being able to now use Follow Me to draw in fighting attacks and quad resist them is a powerful new tool, but I've got Poison Jab on my Hariyama (who subs in for Amoonguss when I use him) to handle that.

Once fairies become just another type you won't feel as easily exploited.

I'm trying to run a special Clefable as well but I can't settle on a moveset, I figure Moonlight (or Wish, probably better with all the Tyranitars out there) and Moonblast are musts but I keep switching the last slots to various things

I'm also wondering if Weakness Policy would be better for it than Life Orb since it's so slow and almost always gets attacked first (plus my Salamence was using Life Orb already and I'm having a hard time finding another item for her)
