Does anybody here already have a copy of Black 2 that's beaten the elite four; I really want to unlock hard mode before they elite four and I think it's really dumb you have to beat the elite four just to get it.

not everyone is okay with cheating, even if it's something trivial


on a related note, engineering a pokemon with legal stats and data values is very difficult and I now have 3 illegitimate shiny porygons named freakazoid in my possession

Black 2 & White 2 versions are officially released in North America (provided you can find an open store at this time)! Sorry Europe and Australia, you've got a little while longer to wait...

A Dream Radar section has been added towards the top of the OP (for now, I'll move it down as the hype goes down) with information for those curious if it's really worth the money as well as how to obtain the currently available special Pokemon in it. Pokedex 3D Pro will not be available for another month, so no need to worry about it now.

The Genesect event is also now active, available in B2/W2 via WFC Mystery Gift, if you take it to the P2 Lab in any Gen V game it'll activate an in-game event that allow you to get the Drives to manipulate Techno Blast.

While I highly encourage everyone playing the game to hide your spoilers when discussing them in this thread (for those of you unacquainted with BBCode this can be done by either typing [abbr=spoiler here]___[/abbr] or [color=transparent]spoiler here[/color]) it's not going to be 100% safe. Just keep that in mind while browsing the thread.

Serebii as always has comprehensive guides to everything about everything in B2/W2, so give them a look if you're curious.

I think they're alright, I really like the animations some of the characters do, also I walked out of the second town's pokemon center and LENS FLARE WHOA

Dream Radar spoiled me, before I even left my hometown I had 5 Pokemon lol

also if you tuck in a Pokemon with game sync in B/W you can unlock some continuity stuff in B2/W2 using Unova Link where people refer to your previous game

the animations are cool but the dude's sprite looks like it could be either gender in the overworld

pros about going through an area with a partner: they heal your pokemon after every battle

cons about going through an area with a partner: they have no idea what the forget they're doing

"oh that zubat is going to kill riolu? better drench ourselves in water in case it uses fire blast"
