I'm not used to having legendaries early enough that I can actually use them while playing the story so it's a tough choice

they look so awesome though I can't just not use them even though they're overpowered


here are some of the C-Gear (and 1 Pokedex) skins Japan is getting, hopefully they go international soon

Japan had a deadline for registering your new game on the Global Link to get the Reshiram, Zekrom, and Victini skins though so make sure you do that on the same account your Black/White is registered on ASAP

it's supposedly what your rival's looks like


kinda stuffty how they give you genesect right off the bat but the P2 Lab is blocked off for most of the game so you can't get the Drives

I suppose you could always trade it to B/W if you've got a second DS but that shouldn't be required


I'm getting really tired of all these random triple battles

it's a nice concept but the trainers who start them have teams designed for triple battling and I never know when they're coming so I can't prepare, it's not like double battles where you can just swap out one pokemon if it's going to get obliterated because triple battles have that dumb "you can only reach 1 enemy left and 1 enemy right" rule so sometimes you have two pokemon who can't do jack stuff

AND ROTATION BATTLES

forget whoever created those, it's just a psychological clusterforget


I took a break from playing to fiddle with pokegen again and somehow managed to successfully genetically engineer a legitimate pokemon

it's a shiny level 1 porygon (appropriate considering how it was created) with average IVs, he is my child and I shall raise him to be super strong

only thing is I need 10 blue shards to teach him dark pulse so I have to farm the stuff out of dust clouds and it's costing a small fortune in max repels

so I was reading about stats and discovered that ninjask has the highest speed of non-legendaries, so why does it have speed boost as its signature ability? it's already got the highest speed it doesn't need it to be any higher (unless it gets paralyzed I guess but still)

today I learned Australia has even weirder time compared to my home time zone than I thought and it is in fact ~5:45pm thursday in some places which means B2/W2 has been out for quite some time

not sure if any of you are Australian but if you are I hope you get a chance to pick up a copy if you haven't already

just one more day, Europe, and you'll have yours too


as for my personal progress I've earned all the badges, have nearly 50 medals, and I'm just about to enter victory road

I think I'll take this time to check out this movie thing a little more before I keep going

I always forget about baton pass, the only time I ever used it was when I was 7 and had no idea what it was because silver didn't have move explanations


musicals are as painful to watch as ever and movies remind me of glitz pit matches in paper mario 2

also it looks like the codes for the Dream Radar are different in the international versions so there are some people trying to figure those out

battled my cousin twice today before we went out to get the new game for him, porygon-z did great in the first battle until he was massacred by an eruption from typhlosion which I really didn't think would be faster, it also came to my attention that only 2/6 pokemon were vulnerable to toxic spikes and that I should probably switch forretress with a stealth rock user (sad face)

our second battle, however, he decided he'd use a full team of legendary pokemon (arceus, lugia, zekrom, dialga, kyurem, darkrai) against my white 2 team (keldeo, genesect, crustle, electabuzz, sigilyph, arcanine) and I was like "okay, I guess you automatically win"...and I somehow beat him, it was hilarious

edit: oh god yes stealth rock is a move tutor move in B2/W2 and I can teach it to forretress
