I saved money for both the 3DS and XL so my opinion is get the loving 3DS

i know, haha. i wouldnt be so stupid. I have tried the 3DS, and the 3DSXL, and 3D doesnt hurt my eyes one bit, with or without my contacts, and with or without my glasses.although i might go for the 2DS simply for the pricebut then no 3D ugh the struggle guys
The 3D effect gets quite boring afterwards. You should maybe borrow a friends 3DS (If you have a friend and they have a 3DS) and play with the 3D on for a while. It gets boring quite fast once you realize that it has a lot of requirements to be sweet. Also a lot of games use motion controls so that forgets up with the 3D effect.
i actually did this3D was nice and all, and I had it on the entire time I played with it, but i just stopped noticing it was in 3Dso im getting the 2DS
Kinda depends on what game you're playing, but yes you should get a 2DS. Way cheaper and durable.
