English trailer for the new pokemon revealed yesterday, I'm really excited to use vikavolt.

I feel like Vikavolt could've gotten a better ability, like whatever Battery is

Because of the Bug typing it already only takes neutral damage from Ground

like whatever Battery is
my prediction is whenever the pokemon gets hit by an electric attack it boosts electric moves

The 20th Anniversary Shaymin is now available via Mystery Gift until the 24th

Additionally, some extra information about the recent new Pokémon has been revealed via the website:
- Iwanko, the Rock-type dog Pokémon, has been localized in English as Rockruff
- Nekkoala, the sleeping koala Pokémon, has been localized in English as Komala
- Zygarde's ability that changes its form is called Power Construct and activates below 50% HP
- Drampa's ability Berserk raises Special Attack when below 50% HP
- Charjabug's ability Battery raises the Special Attack of its allies (I'm actually glad Vikavolt got Levitate over that)
- Tapu Koko's potential signature move Nature's Madness halves the opponent's HP

do any of you guys have a new 3ds? I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it to get one for this game. My 3ds's sd card slot got forgeted somehow and it makes my 3ds act strange

the new 3ds is wonderful, trust me

it fixed all my issues that I had with the regular 3ds xl

I do, and I love it

pros: huge screen, console size is easier on my giant hands, SNES VC games

cons: it's loving massive and tough to carry around with you if you don't have a bag, no indicator light for 3D

alright, thanks. the big screens sound nice, and it being big won't bug me at all. probably gonna try to pick one up at some point then

The bonus to the New 3DS that I wasn't expecting is that, despite still having a raised lip around the lower screen, the lower screen doesn't seem to scratch the top screen. The lip is smoother with no sharp edges, plus there are small cushions on the top screen that minimise the direct contact when closed.

The scratching was my only real issue with my original 3DS. And I've had/used my New 3DSXL for a year now and am happy that there's no sign of it returning.

The biggest downsides to the New 3DS in my opinion is the fact that it normally doesn't come with a charger (bad if you don't have a 3DS and its charger), and most of all that it uses a microSD card instead of an SD card.
I bought a 16GB SD card for my 3DS, then got the N3DS and needed to buy a larger microSD as the default one is only like 2/4GB (I'd check and confirm, but the SD slot is under the back panel which you need to unscrew).

A new Pokémon has been revealed: Salandit!

Salandit is a Poison/Fire type with a new ability called Corrosion, which allows it to poison any Pokémon with its attacks, including Poison and Steel types

Team Rocket needs to get in on this ASAP

That's probably their go-to, hugely spammed, side Pokemon. That and the loving Electric-Ninjask or whatever it is.

This month's CoroCoro has revealed two more new Pokémon:

On the left is "Kiteruguma", a Normal/Fighting type that is incredibly strong. Raising one puts you in danger because it loves to hug its trainer, but can easily break anything in two. The residents of Alola are scared of its strength and have warning signs posted about it. It has the abilities Fluffy and Klutz.

On the right is "Mimikkyu", a Ghost/Fairy type. Using cloth and a stick, it created a disguise based on merchandise from 20 years ago because it wants to be loved as much as Pikachu. Anyone who tries to remove the cloth is afflicted with an illness. It has an ability appropriately called Disguise.

Localized names should be along shortly.

oh my god that poor lil fella just wants friends :(

Mimikkyu is definitely the best new Pokemon, 10/10
