Author Topic: Anagaea: An Era of Empires  (Read 119269 times)

Swat, Frontrox has been an honorable person through Angea's crazy history. When I asked for truce at one point he agreed to it. Throw him a bone, I doubt he'd refuse it to you.
He may request a pardon to extend the time 5 years, and if it passes through all his district border secretaries.  If a pardon request reaches the Capitol desk in under the month's term, then he will have a year to organize his secretaries.  Still no way around the legal means, but this is what you have to do to gain the land back.  (There will also be a price to purchase the land, but you will need to draw the land you want.  If you want all the original land, you will be completely surrounded by Erinaum and the sea, both of which Erinaum holds the advantage, so don't try anything stupid, mister.

Avalonia refortifies many of its old strongholds which have fallen somewhat into disrepair during this era of peace. The fortress city of Tsa'Desh has been built round the midpoint of the cbrown town.
Note that the main cbrown town is not a toll route.

Avalonia offers Mikoyan reimbursement of ten thousand steel swords to the Teutonic Order for the appropriation of Rossiya Imperii (happened a long while back), and hopes that relations between the two nations can remain peaceful.
Nasoa really needs to get back on this...

Can't you just give a chunk of Caprica back to the people who want to remain Caprica?
You can keep the rest, I just want some of my country back ;-;

You may chose to pardon the annexation by passing a pardon through your officials.  I may not issue a pardon for your independence.  My Great Charter is not amendable except by any consequence of time, not specific event.  If you want all of it back, however, you will have to purchase it at a sum of today's equivalent of 300 billion dollars.  If you wish, Erinaum's high council will simply let you buy the land with fewer legal processes priced at modern equiv.: 4 trillion dollars.

If you wish, you may petition to become a protectorate of Erinaum until you get your country in order.  We will leave your country and establish you as a sovereign nation once you are fully able to stand on your own.  You may develop whatever governing system you like.  (Basically, this offer is to allow Erinaum to occupy parts of your country and aid your it to develop to modern standards.  You shall, in other words, be doctored back to health as a nation.  (Starting too early might put you at the stability of Africa nowadays.  This is a good offer.)

Forget it

Thanks anyways

I am offering to help you receive your independence by doing your country service, free of charge.  You are sure?

Seems like too much trouble, and I'm really lazy right now. Oh I read it wrong..You mean like a vassal?

You guys should really make a new topic

Exactly.  I will "doctor" your nation if you chose the option to.

You guys should really make a new topic  Too much work.  I'd love to moderate, but I have no means of creating those cool maps that Nasoa makes.

I's understood that the main cbrown town is not a tollable route to Erinaman and Avalonian vessels. Other nations ships can be tolled though I should think.

Avalonia designs a prototype machine that performs a classified military function. The designs will stay strictly within Avalonia's control.

As to Caprica, I hope it and your government's bureaucratic system can work things out. Avalonia will not interfere save maybe to repay Frontrox for his truce by buying Caprica some land and sell weapons to the Capricans.
Edit: At those prices it would be cheaper to take over land and give it away to Caprica.

Avalonia expands its far side colony. Upwards of one million citizens live there at present, and another one and a half million exist as temporary residents or merchants.

Naosa really doesn't need to come back, we've done a pretty good job without him save for the inability to wage war, which he didn't really help out too much with. If you did choose to moderate, you (or whoever moderates) shouldn't be allowed to have a militarily active nation for the sake of fairness.

Flintlocks are perfected in Erinaum.  Newly made rifles are given to half of Erinaum's troops.

Do not worry; Erinaum is a Representative Socialism, built for land distribution on request.

Caprican News:
Erinaum is proud to announce that the Caprican Land Bill has been passed through Caprican Councils.  The Erinamese High Council has approved the Bill 8-1.  Caprica is now a nation in building.  Erinamese officials are still allowed within this zone at the current time to observe Caprican Progress.  Caprica is allowed to choose the government of it's chosing. (However, I warn you that a raw Capitalist Government will raise controversy in Erinaum, so as to persuade the Residents of Erinaum to petition war.)  Caprica may at this time appoint officials if they are approved by Erinaum.  Erinaum will send whatever aid is requested, though if Erinaum considers the regimes too unstable, arms will not be sent to the Caprican government.

Terms of moderation:
The 40-year plan:
The first term of 20 years will be defined as high levels of moderation on Caprica's growth.  The next 15 years will only be represented by moderate levels of moderation.  The final 5 years will consist of heavy review on Caprican progress but low moderation if Caprica has been good in its growth.  At the end of the third term if the results show to be satisfactory, then Caprica will be declared a free, sovereign nation.

A list of soon to be officials is sent to Erinaum for approval. Some officials have had relatives in the old Caprican government.

Avalonian troops invade the land occupied by Nilhon, Alois, and the territorry between Alois and Rossiya for the purpose of land and resource acquisition. Although there has been heavy resistance throughout, Avalonian superiority in numbers, tactics, and technology has assured total victory; already the Alosian capitol has fallen under Avalonian control.

Avalonia finds that by burning kelp a salt is produced that is useful in the manufacturing of glass. Glass production increases.

Erinamese Scientist Áø¿vádo Yeuss publishes his theory on the properties of gasses.  94% of the Caprican Officials have been approved, but some of them had displayed a tarnished record of corruption.

The territory of Alois and it's neighbor to the north have fallen. Work begins on adding to the all enclosing wall to encompass these new lands. Nilhon is almost taken, but many key tactical locations remain untaken by Avalonian forces, including the capitol city, which is not even contested at the moment as it is heavily fortified and surrounded by fortresses which Avalonian soldiers even now are in the process of attacking.

Avalonian engineers have improved Avalonia's cannon technologies through rifling, as well as making them thicker, allowing for a greater charge to be used.

Avalonian alchemist Hotep Zaan has been convicted of scientific fraud after coating a gold cube with lead, and then melting off the lead to give the appearance of transmutating it. He has been sentenced to life as a janitor at Avalonia's Ministry of Science.
