Avalonia continues to build its military, and is upgrading the All Enclosing Wall, adding places to keep catapults and/or ballistae at the ready along the walltop. A secondary wall is being built behind the first one.

Avalonia sends explorers to the southern pole to evaluate resource potential, as well as the likelyhood of assimilating any naties int Avalonia.

Population reaches 1.25 million as more "barbarians" migrate into it. Due to the variety of cultures assimilating into Avalonia, the national languages grows to include Latin. A librasry is being built to create a storehouse for the knowledge of Avalonia. The idea is to stockpile and translate as many books as can be found, and improve Avalonia's average inteligence.

Storms continue to render the cbrown towns hard to use, and temporarily stop construction on new ships.

A trading ship, Tvorcheskaya masterskaya, left 2 days ago and hasn't been spotted anywhere along the coastline nor has she arrived at her destination. Rossiya Imperii asks for other countries to keep a close lookout for the ship and her crew.

Avalonia's navy is searching, no sign thusfar.

A hull has washed up on Isle Vae, however it is too old to be your ship.
My fleet will keep a sharp eye on the seas.

Avalonia brings some unnamed items from the southern unclaimed regions between Masona and Aemilius. They are being held at an unspecified location.

No sign of Rossiya Imperii's ship yet, but the search continues.

More production of everything military. The navy has expanded tremendously, as the storms have ceased, and production continues. The navy's size continues to grow, as no known enemy navy exists to rival it, and shipbuilders from "barbarian" territories share their knowledge, and unemployed immigrants gain jobs easily as rowers or other jobs among the ships.

The natives from the southern continent have accepted Avalonian culture, and have sent emissaries to Avalonia for discussion on trade, immigration, and mutual military cooperation. Talks are expected to end with an influx of people from the southern continent, and an influx of supplies to the southern nations.

Fires have destoyed an area of around fifty square miles of farmland. Total deaths are at less than two dozen. Much grain has been lost. Avalonians blame it on Caprica, and it is being looked into as to whether the fires were started by the same subversive group that attempted to kill the supreme leader.

Y'all must really want me inside your countries. Again, we deny any role in the fires, and seeing how your populace is becoming more hostile towards Caprica we have sent more men to reinforce the mines.

So you have made a preemptive defensive measure?
You do realize Plethora and I have been discussing whether or not to attack the mines in person.  We agree no.

Small sickness kills 3.  Vaccination "invented" by scraping off parts of sores and putting them on cuts.  This weakened version of the virus in the body lets our body produce antibodies without the real disease killing the person.
Medicinal Encyclopedia is being written up of all nations combined medical knowledge.  If you want to give info, just say the word.
Of course, you don't actually need to say anything medical, just that you have something to add.  I plan to use this idea to bring some nations together.

Rossiya Imperii launches an all out assault on the mines North of us. The force consists of 100,000 men and cavalry combined.

The golden sword named 'Ava' has been sent to Avalonia along with 4 carriages filled with jewels and gold.

Becoming hostile? didn't things break out into full out mutual hostility when you threatened to "come into my basements" and kill members of my nation, and then we both declared war on each other and the other's allies, and then taunt me by bringing your army so close to my borders?! If that isn't blatant hostility, what is?

ASt to your sending troops to the mines, I have little interest in thm. Gold doesn't have much practical value as to crafting things, and I have silver that I've included in my resource list from day 1 for decorative and economic purposes.

Send your military if you will, but the mines are not high on my list of peiorities, unless some resource magically appears inside Avalonia.

morn, mind sharing your medical encyclopedia when you've finished with it? (Although you're walking the realisticness line)

I wish to aide Rossiya Imperii.
100,000 troops, 30,000 cavalry, and trebuchet.
Ballista were going to be sent, but we deemed them unnecessary.

Break yourselves upon my body defensive walls

The garrison of 750,000 strong should have no problem fending off your small armies.

Rossiya Imperii and Aemilius can handle the mines, but Avalonia will provide a rearguard and ensure that no enemy troops come to reinforce the mines. Archers in great numbers are also being sent to aid in the siege.

Another portion of Avalonia's military goes to defend Rossiya's border closest to the enemies. A portion of the military stays behind to defend Avalonia itself, and another portion takes actions that will not be mentioned.

Civilians evacuated by ship to the southern continent, along with many weapons, building supplies, foodstuffs, etc.

It begins. A bit earlier than I would have designed, but it does indeed begin.

I retreat upon sight of your body walls.  No use losing that many people for nothing.
Rossiya, do the same.  Now.

frontrox, you may well hold the mines for some time. Eat your gold if you will. No food will enter into those mines. Avalonia begins putting large trees into the ground to prevent tunneling out, and digging trenches, as well as setting up fortifications.

Now that it has started, there's no turning back morn. None.

Okay, I send the same invasion force with more trebuchet and no cavalry.
They mean nothing in a battle of walls.
