Some of the barbarians that joined with Avalonia have decided to remain in the colonies on the southern coasts, and exist as a barbarian nation paying tribute in return for protectin from Avalonia. This nation has around a million people in it, and supports itself with fishing and other nautical endeavours, any unemployed barbarians within Avalonia tend to move to this nation. It is ruled by the barbarian lord, Rachashna.
Avalonia's population hits 3.5 million. Military is down to one third its wartime size, and is primarily made up of the so called "Elites" who have few skills other than the arts of war, and master fighting in various methods; around a hundred thousand assorted infantry and cavalry remain aside from the Elites. The Avalonian navy remains at full capacity at present, but will be half demilitarized for use of trade and such ventures.
The treasures of Avalonia have been, for the most part, reconsolidated to the area of the capitol, including the golden sword, Ava. The religious group in control of the three gems never left Avalonia, and will not demilitarize for the time being. Work on the construction, and collection of books for the Grand Avalonian Library resumes in earnest. Efforts are being made to educate the Average Avalonian on how to read, write, etc.
Due to the influx of barbarians int Avalonia, the national languages grow to include Norse and Greek.
