The nautical portion of the Avalonian far side expedition has been temporarily halted by storms which the native guides advised against travel during. The expedition docked on a large island inhabited by cannibals. Fortunately, the cannibals were cooped up due to the storm, and it is not believed that they became aware of the presence of the Avalonian ships.
Settlers on the Avalonian colony (far side) have discovered rich deposits of rock salt in the hills to the north of the settlement.
Avalonian Chief General of the Military, Archduke Hador I, has recently published his book, A Compendum of Military Affairs. It has been lauded as the greatest military work yet existing by several generals, both Avalonian and otherwise, and a second volume may be added to it as further advancement in the fields of tactics and weapons technology arise. Two copies will be provided to Erinaum and Aemilius, to be used as either government should see fit.
The territorry north of Avalonia has been completely encircled by the All-Enclosing-Wall, though further upgrades, modifications, &c. shall be added as needed. So far, this territorry exists as a town/homestead type community, as opposed to the more urban-like territory of Main Avalonia. As such, it has become a popular spot for the aristocracy to make manor houses, as well as for hunters, scholars, and farmers.
