Slainte horsemen dive behind the lines of the Barbarian and Avalonian foot soldiers. Unable to to catch up, they continue pursuing them. The same happen all across the line that Avalonian has between Slainte and occupied territory. Some troops are left behind, about 300,000, to whom 450,000 soldiers are detached, to, killing all of them and leaving none alive. The horsemen lead the remaining forces, numbering about 500,000, back to the soldiers. As they are fighting, the Slainte line is falling, when Caprican mercenaries and TTG Merc join the fray, pushing back the army out of 1/8 of Slainte.
(So that you guys don't bitch, I actually compared the Slainte footmen and Avalonian footman together in DF. Both had iron breastplates and bronze greaves. Slainte had iron shields, while Avalonia had bronze ones. Slainte had bronze war hammers, which have a lot of weight against them, while Avalonia had iron shortswords.)
Speaking of which, 500,000 Slainte soldiers took part in the battle (regular army and horsemen.) and 800,000 Avalonian troops participated. Some 1,100 Mercs took part on the side of Slainte. Armor taken from the dead bodies are taken for other soldiers to use and the decapitated heads of the corpses are put on catapults and flung into the enemy lines.
And you know what, in order to respond to your barbarian tribes, (most of which were exterminated by Caprica) the bodies of the dead are being used to feed the troops tonight. GJ.
