Avalonian miners discover Avalonium, a very strong, but fairly light metal that Avalonian scientists and geographers have concluded exists only within the Avalonian Union (especially in Eastern Rossiya), due to unique geographical and volcanic circumstance.

Up to 2% of Anagea's Avalonium could exist outside of the areas controlled by the Avalonian Union, the rest is likely to be scattered in small deposits throughout the far side. Avalonium is Titanium in case it isn't obvious.

Yeah, really.  C'mon, getting space travel isn't THAT easy.  We don't even have transistor radio and the capability to launch rockets high into the atmosphere.  Our aircraft tech is only around 1928.

Keep in with the propaganda, won't do me any harm, the people who already hate me can't hate me much more, those that don't aren't likely to start unless I personally screw with them, and that's going to be the last effect your propaganda has in Avalonia, seeing as you can't control my people, and I see no reason to have any more of them be influenced by you.

Avalonia begins counter propaganda in the USSR. The people there are so brainwashed and afraid that it's had little effect, but I can't sit back while you pour filth into Avalonia on the airwaves. Have to at least try to demoralize you.

Two divisions are deployed along the USSR - Confederation border to guard themselves. They're armed with revolving rifles, only a few are armed with semiauto rifles.
We request Gatling gun tech from Avalonia in exchange for the syphillys vaccine.
Also, farm production is switching to potatoes, which are easier and faster to grow, to stop food shortages. However, we'll need imported meat from Caprica and produce from Erinaum. We'll trade the polio vaccine.
Also, if Caprica requests, we can send 2 divisions to safeguard their borders.

A Po-2 flies across the border keeping an eye on the enemy. All of a sudden, the engine backfires, sports oil all over the pilot, and quits. "Ubiraĭtesʹ! Ubiraĭtesʹ!" Screams the pilot as he takes his goggles off. The gunner jumps out, followed by the pilot and the men float to the ground behind enemy lines.

Erinamese engineers gain a vacation in the tropical West Erinaum Islands for all their hard work.  Keep up the good work, comrades!

Three low-flying Erinamese amphibious supply planes fly over the border of the USSR and land in a lake 53 miles from the capitol.  An unknown cargo is delivered to the Soviet forces waiting at the lake.  No one knows what the cargo is, except that it is extremely heavy.  A cargo barge carrying more cargo should arrive on the Soviet coast should arrive within a few days.
