It seems you don't have VC++ or DirectX. You need both for it to work.

VC++ says "A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable has been detected on the machine." and I installed DirectX (I'm pretty sure I had it) but the game still doesn't run.

What happens is it gets to the log in screen I push "Play demo" and then it flickers to a black full screen for a fraction of a second flickers off and on again and then just quits.
Any ideas?

Something most likely went wrong, try emailing the mojangstas. Besides the "one account" thing is a beta, something's bound to go wrong. :u
