I may not be a member of this clan, but I respect it far more than any other.

Your constant asking for Admin on most USSR related servers (Meaning hosed by members of USSR or some one close to USSR)
is pathetic and what started the subject of USSR having a clan clean out, of its inactive members and its members that dont build, mind i said that dont build, thank god i do.

As soon as i get my old computer up and running, and Ronin is back, ill set up a part time Dedi, wont be 24/7 but it will do.

Ronin has stuck with USSR since the early days. He also continues to build amazing things. I can't honestly think of anyone more deserving.
Sure, he's mean to n00bs and idiots, but that's how USSR became so feared back in RTB. Heh. :)

Afkpuz is a great guy, but he's in a completely different timezone than the rest of the clan. Wedge would also make a good leader.
Anyway, I can throw a server up anytime today for you guys. Just post when.

That's great news, Face. I can definitely see USSR headed in the right direction.
It still won't feel like the old days until we get Primary back up and running. Come on, Wizzard, you're a huge part of USSR too! :P

If its up for a vote, i vote Ronin, on two reasons.

1. In my opinion, most suited for the position.
2. More active than Afk and Wedge, from what i see.

Only thing i can think of that shouldnt be ronin, Hes going to college in august, and before college hes getting  job, so in  two months or three months, he will be just as inactive as Dio's.

Quite a hard thing to vote for seeing as all the canidates are inactive (Maybe just game wise), or will be inactive with in 4months.

Just my thoughts on the current list, if we are thinking of a prune.  About leadership, I know that Ronin and Afk and I have all done some work in that respect before.  I'm not sure about Wedge really being interested in actually running the clan, myself.

Things will improve once school gets out (and Wizzard starts hosting), right now I have a ton of stuff that I am doing for my forums and school and a dozen other things and don't have much time for building (let alone that there are no reliable freebuild servers).

Returning USSR to what it once was will require going back to the old mehod of choosing members --finding people that will be COMRADES, not just wear the tag for ego.  We stopped doing that a while into retail, in my opinion.

But anyways, I'd vote wedge for co-leader.

I don't really know how I am AWOL, but Anti's post somewhat reminded me of why I joined the clan in the first place.... I felt that in doing so I would belong to a unique group of people with recognizable skill and some intelligence to help me have a fun experiance in the game. Plus the constant soviet references I found to be rather interesting, and that I was on at least somewhat friendly terms with most people in the clan.
Actually I find it somewhat amusing that at first it was Face who liked me and Diggy who hated me, which stopped me from joining the clan. At the point when Face hated me and Diggy liked me I joined. And now both Face and Diggy just "meh" me as far as I can tell.
I relealise this is somewhat off-topic of my post but I just noticed it.
