CM7 has features which ICS doesn't, plus it's more fast and stable.

CM7 used to crash roughly once a day for me, requiring me to pull the battery. No issue with ICS. I'd also like to know how CM7 is faster than ICS, for me the experience has been the opposite. Bear in mind that I'm talking about vanilla ICS, not one of those "preview" AOSP ROMs.

If you have an android phone and it's completely stock, you either A) enjoy it as it is, even if it might be slow, or B) you're really dumb and just want a phone

If you're using an android phone and it has a custom ROM and you talk about it alot, you're a Techie or Android/OS Gearhead

If you have an iPhone you're either A) enjoying it as it is or B) just wanting to fit in with the latest trend and look like a cool hispter

If you have a regular cellular phone, you're using it because it's a regular phone

Different processors have different capabilities.

I have an LG Optimus Chic, it will only be stable at 729 MHz. The sisterphone of mine, the LG Optimus One P500, can overclock just over 800 MHz. Same processors.
