Should I consider secondary developers?

No, retain the purity. One man, one mod, ein reich!
Yes.

Well, I guess if they like losing their current progress and being banned until the next election they're free to. The Mayor will have some protection to keep him from being a big juicy bragging right.

Woah, wait. Jailed people literally get banned?

My plan is, if you get a Life Sentence and reset your account, you'll be banned until a new mayor is elected. I'm still thinking about this. I want the mayor's death to be a very rare occurrence.

Not all jailed people, this is a high penalty for committing the biggest crime. (suggest you read the topic)

Very cool! Like I said, I could really develop the town hall for you if you'd like. I love government buildings.

Go for it. 32x64 would be fine, keep it all on the baseplates, regular 32x32s would work perfectly. Use default bricks, but if you really really really must have some sort of brick-pack, tell me which.

Affirmative! I'll post pics relatively soon.

Will there be player Bodygaurds?

That sounds like something the mayor (or anyone else can deal with) if a mayor is particularly unpopular they could probably pay someone to be their bodyguard. I've seen it happen in other city rp's where players themselves organise it rather than it being a 'game' feature as such.

Wow, this looks like it could be the very first actually decent CityRPG.

Okay. That would work.

Where are the Factory Employees on the Job chart?

Where are the Factory Employees on the Job chart?
... Keen eye.

Factory Workers are omitted accidentally. I'll wire that in.

Factory Workers are the only job tier that have have no second or third level, aside from the Rogue. Unlike other jobs, Factory Workers are dead-end. While they make better money than most laborers, what they learn at their job will not help them succeed anywhere else, and the EXP they earn only make them better at working in factories.

While laborers earn less, they can eventually become Foremen, which work extremely fast, especially in groups, and procure more gems from rocks than standard miners. However, the standard laborer earns less even a rudimentary factory worker, so picking between money and career is important.

Also, thank you Phydeoux for your first contribution to the game mode.

This hat is more than just fancy. Since client-code can determine what images an object has mounted without communicating with the server, I can efficiently change the crosshair and give other warnings when aiming directly at the mayor, to prevent misfire and give even the most thoughtless of players a last second chance to consider how badly they're loving themselves over.

Neato.

You also made a spelling mistake in the arms dealer description, I'm not making a big deal of it, just thought you should know.

Yeah, you need to provide more incentive to be a Factory worker OR a labourer, IMO. Especially if you're still gonna have resources.  Maybe the factory owner could provide apartments that the worker wouldn't need to pay tax for? that's just a thought.

I think Factory Workers vs Laborers sound just fine the way they are. Giving workers tax-free housing would throw it way off balance, because then the workers are earning more money than laborers, and would get to spend much less of it to live. If this was the case then I wouldn't bother with any other job, i would just be a factory worker for a cheap home, easy money, and stuff my bank full of cash.

Okay, so that's a bad idea, but if you're still using the resource system (Where if no one mines for ores you can't buy items) you need to give people a reason to be a labourer.
