Although some people pirate games for demo purposes so they can decide whether or not they will buy it later. You have to admit, 20$ is quite a high price for jumping into unknown waters since the game doesn't have any real demo that introduces you to gameplay. I just wanted to point this out and clarify that I'm not going to pirate this game or encourage piracy. 20$ is around 10€ so i guess its good for me.

Let me clarify that this is /not/ a crack. This is using an exploit in the client;
If you have a legitimate install of cube world, you can click play on the launcher and it will update, regardless of log in status. Afterwards, if you restart the client and disable your internet connection, you will be able to play the game unhindered.

Let me note that I do not endorse doing this in any way whatsoever. But, for demo purposes, I might do this. My friend irl has the installer for this game so I can get the client without pirating it, and I know for a fact that I will buy this as soon as the game is available, so it isn't that bad if I do, right?

It's really unbalanced and lacking in content, With enemies giving you 1 exp and most monsters being hugely stronger then you.

I'm also worried Wollay might go back to not giving any updates for months at a time, So I think I'll just observe for the moment.

Still, I think it could be good if he manages to fix the balancing.
