The way you got around not noticing that is beyond me.
It doesn't say alpha anywhere on the site.

I tried out the leaked old alpha and I'm not too impressed. I mean what the flying forget you get 1 exp for killing an enemy? Not to mention practically anything and everything can and will kill you. The game is hard as balls. How are you even supposed to get money when no real items are dropped? Are these things fixed in the latest version?

I don't see anything wrong with only getting 1-5 xp for killing low level enemies, and the challenge of finding things that you can actually kill makes this game even more fun in my opinion

And it makes the game a grinding fest.

I'd recommend buying soon, the price may increase by winter
Thanks for letting me know.

Literally every equipment in every store is "(adapted)" making me unable to wear it and 90% of the equipment are meant for other classes than mine. (Playing an orc warrior.) This has to be a bug.
Edit: Power is a thing. Even at level 10 I can't find anything good.

I like the idea of stuff giving 1 exp
everything is always in multiples of ten to make people feel better goddamn

I don't like the idea that you need to kill hundreds of monsters to level up. Especially when at level 1 even strong wind can kill you. If it was up to me I'd cut down all exp requirements to 1/3rd.

how you make drpg more fun in a nutshell

Grinding for experience isn't bad unless it's done incorrectly.

EDIT: Apparently the site is down. Anyone else getting an error?

This is an exaggeration. Only random easy crap gives you 1 exp. If you wander about and take on tougher enemies in clever ways, you will level up quickly.

Level 7 Guardian here

Is anybody hosting and want to play?

Played a bit today with my lovey. <3

Well my experience in the latest version is as follows:

I'm an Orc Warrior like you, i can kill loads of things by using dodging and blocking (blocking with a shield of course) in combat. Enemies drop loot and money. I'm only about level 3 or so and i already have loads of armor and the stores sell some too.

Although this "padding" could be a placeholder until they figure out a new system to make leveling up something that isn't easy but isn't grinding either. What i was really impressed by was the way how the Mana/MP mechanic works (Hit enemies to gain Mana points to execute special attacks). The only problem i have with this game is that it doesn't allow block destruction. One time i was in a cave and i got stuck because there were blocks blocking my path. I tried rolling, jumping and everything into every direction but nothing let me trough. I eventually had to wait for a fat bat to kill me so i could respawn.

im about to buy!
:D:D:D
Don't expect much. Its still in early alpha, so there isn't much to do besides collecting loot from creatures, selling it and exploring the land.

To me this is still a ton of fun. I feel like every level is an accomplishment because of the difficulty of the game at times
