My point is still the same, posting on Twitter is important to let your fans know what's going on. /vg/ threads have completely haulted, and this one is at a slow crawl compared to the first week and a half. He's gotta post more.

I don't think he would even need to hire someone, I think it wouldn't even be difficult to find a volunteer. The benefit? Knowing what's coming before everyone else.

He isn't doing fine.
Servers crash constantly, there's still a million issues with the game, updates are slow as stuff, and he hasn't even updated the Facebook.
That's not fine. He could get an intern to do it all, Notch offered his help with the server code and Wollay declined it.
Dumb business tactics, he's got hundreds of thousands of dollars now, he can afford an 8 dollar an hour lackey.

There's a million issues with the game because it's in alpha. So many people--including you, it seems--forget that. It's not going to be perfect.

Anyway, he's probably too proud to ask for help. Also, having Notch help with server code would be a bad idea. Minecraft's server code is atrocious.

Hm, I never noticed this post on Cube World, so apparently he did give a heads up on what he will be doing. Not sure if anyone posted this before, it was on the 23rd.

First of all, a big thank you to all Cube World fans. It's so great to see all the Cube World videos and screenshots from other players all around the web!

I just wanted to give you a brief overview of what we'll be doing next:

Fixing bugs: We have already gathered a big list of bugs and glitches reported by players.
Compatibility: Some players have DirectX initialization problems on their PCs. We will try to find out the reasons and solve these issues.
Performance: We will work on performance optimizations, both for client and server.
Remappable controls: We will make all controls configurable.
Scalable GUI: We will make the GUI scalable, so it works well with lower resolutions, too.
Multiplayer server configuration: We will add more server configurations options, such as a configurable port.
New content: We already have a few things in the making, such as new creatures.
Changes to the website: We'll restructure the site a little and add a new forum and probably a bugtracking system (if anyone can recommend a good bugtracker, please let me know).

Wrong type of server code.
He was referring to the website's server, not the game's server.
I don't think it's an issue of pride, I think its more that he wants this game to just be a two person team; him and his wife.

Why do most people forget that the game isn't done yet?  And I'm almost positive that the game was done on an extremely low budget.  Give the guy time.
