I had the opposite experience with mine.  By the time I got my Nexus, I was on my 3rd Droid and the one I had was near dying.  Luckily, Verizon kept sending me free refurbs to replace mine.

The Droid Bionic is amazing, I've had it for a few days, and there has been nothing wrong. Its a 4G LTE phone, long battery life, depending on how you use it, and very fast. I've never froze up once.

No.  You can't use an AT&T iPhone on Verizon.  I have friends who answer phones for Verizon, they get this call all the time.  Anyways, when you buy a phone, you're usually contracted for 2 years so why does it matter? You'll want a new phone as soon as you're free anyway.

How much is an iPhone over in the US guys? They are $1200 over here. That's also for a used one, not a new one. New can be about $1400.
Completely unreasonable when you can get an iPod touch for $200 - $300 over here and get that $100 phone addon.

Get an HTC Rezound or the Droid Razor. They've both got pretty beast specs (Both dual cores) and the HTC has higher PPI than the iPhone (Also Beats Audio if you give a stuff). My friend got a Galaxy Nexus and it's nothing to call home about really. The screen is lacking (Not even Super AMOLED+ like my year old Infuse 4G. I think the screen on even the Droid Charge looks better), only a 5 MP camera, signal strength issues, randomly reboots a lot, dev support is disappointing (if you're into that) as all of the ROMs are just stock ICS with minimal changes, screen burn in issues, among other problems.
