The complicated mechanics of how an ordinary artillery gun moves would be rather hard to do in Blockland. How would this be done?
An artillery gun would only work as an AA gun for a WW1 TDM. Because that's the only time they where used that way.
I would suspect it be done just like the pirate cannon or tank turret.Except it cannot aim below a certain point, and can aim all the way up, save for a few degrees.Maybe a bird's-eye-view camera of where your shell is going to land.Or just blindfire like with the mortar weapon.
Shell charge sucks
but shell charge determines how far your shell will go. You could charge it up all the way to get a greater distance shot, or a little to get close range.
You determine how far the shell goes by how much you aim uplike in real life
real life =/= blocklandthe more you aim up the higher the projectile goes, and that means more time it takes to fall down, more time means it could dissapear while in flight.most of the projectiles dissapear after some time, so having it be shot straight up and fall back down won't work.
