I think it should remain like this until valentines day is over! :cookieMonster:

It happened around the time he released r1486, which in a later update he announced that it broke Vertex Lighting, could the two be related?

I remember there was this one thing when a circle of dirt would follow you everywhere, and when you zoom in you see only dirt.

It got really annoying.

it's like a big snow cone

tasty

I actually don't have this problem. :o

It's because the map's creator was stupid. It's how the game works.

bump. not letting this die

Somewhat relevant, those couches are supposed to be green. They have blue and black stripes from a close distance.

The point is terrain lighting is reading the numbers backwards, but not lighting like on players. As such, simply reversing the numbers doesn't fix this, because now players and such are colored inverse. Shouldn't be too hard to make the game read the lighting numbers correctly again.

I have this for EVERY SINGLE terrain map. Sand is pink, and brown is greyish.
It is very tiring D:

on desert slate the land is blue from a distance

well in a way this will be solved..
uber excited for shadows, but to exchange shadows for interiors and terrain? That's a pretty big price, :(
Now skis will be useless, and things'll probably be very different around here

NOTE TO THE PEOPLE: Do not discuss that topic in this topic, there's already a large discussion going on in that topic, no need to leak it into here

Me, I turned it to .9 .9 .9, .5 .5 .5, Grey, no off tints, works well enough for me.
