flex limbs in a manly fashion
No, I'm actually serious. Figure out your range of motion, balance, etc. Do that before anything else, as clumsiness may cost you dearly.

You move your arms and legs this way and that. You seem to have an almost full range of motion, but you still feel like you haven't moved in years.

Jog to the door and headbutt it? No respectable creator would put a thinking apparatus out on an unstable protrusion.
C how offensive I m

You jog over to the door and headbutt it. It makes the aching in your head even worse. You start to feel dizzy and sit down on the cold metal floor.

Damn. Relax and take stock of your suroundings, then.

You lean back against the wall, taking a deep bre-

Who are you kidding? You can't breath. Anyways, the room seems to be mostly empty. There's a broken light fixture hanging from the ceiling, but the only source of light is from the green and blue strips across the walls. They're really pretty actually, the way they blend and pulse, sending bits of light across the room...

You wake up later. You don't know how much later, but later. Maybe a few hours. Regardless of how long you were out, you haven't moved, and the room hasn't changed.

You think you might be able to rip the light fixture off of the ceiling. It looks like a small box with a cable attached to it. Perhaps you could use it as a weapon sometime? That is, if you can get out of this box.

try that, then see if you can find anything else in the room you could use/pick up

Try touching your ears to see if your touch-sensors still work.

Try touching your ears to see if your touch-sensors still work.
You think that if you can feel the floor and know if it's cold or warm that your touch sensors are working. Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to try.

You gently touch where your ears should be with your hands. Of course, your audio sensors are all built into various parts of your body. It's rather convenient. Instead of ears, you feel a sort of headset. Not like that's really useful without ears.

try that, then see if you can find anything else in the room you could use/pick up
You get up and steady yourself against the wall before grabbing the box part of the light fixture. After a good bit of pulling, it gives a loud groan and frees itself from the ceiling. You fall to the ground with it, giving a small "oof" as you hit the floor.

The dark ceiling above appears to be spinning, but you think it's because you're feeling rather dizzy again.

Wait a bit and look again. Then examine box.

You wait until the room stops spinning. You don't feel like sitting up, so you just hold the box above your head.

The box looks like rectangle: one foot wide, two and a half feet long. The cord is maybe two and a half feet, and looks to be about an inch thick. There are loose wires and thinner cables poking out of the part of the cable that you ripped out of the ceiling. Well, it was the light's base's fault for not letting go of the ceiling! It should have known this would happen! Stupid base.

Anyways, the box looks like it has a transparent cover. You might me able to pull it off and see what's inside this box.

first check the hole up there and see if there's anything else from your viewpoint.

then open box

first check the hole up there and see if there's anything else from your viewpoint.
There isn't a hole on the ceiling, you had to rip the cable off of the base.

then open box
You sit up and begin to pry the box open. It's surprisingly easy, and within a few moments, the cover snaps off with a loud pop.

Inside are several long cylinders, looking to be full of some sort of gel. You assume that this gel lights up when an electric current is passed through it.

Touch your rear to your ear and wiggle your toes.

You doubt you're flexible enough to bend over far enough so that you could touch your rear to your ear. However, you wiggle your toes because why not?
