Do we know of any materials resistant to the S-virus?
Deceb is the only one who has knowledge of how to make S-Virus resistant weaponry. Unless, of course, you get lucky enough to find a Triloslynne. But chances of that are slim because, last time you checked, the Triloslynne were extinct.
"Alright, so Cryonnium weaponry is out of the question," one of the humans sighs. "Such a shame, it's so powerful."
"Creating an S-Virus breakout is the last thing we want," you say sternly.
"Actually, we may be able to use it to our advantage," suggests Deceb. "The S-Virus can easily overpower Kkryonitte. Using it against Shy'ryx would seal an almost certain victory."
"But what will happen when the battle is over? What will we do with all the loose S-Virus material?" one of the elders inquires.
"We can either contain it or wait for it to eat itself up," she replies.
"Eat itself up?" Stojanow leans forward. "This all sounds far too good to be true." A few participants nod in agreement and turn their attention to Deceb.
"The S-Virus, after being left in space for a time, will begin eating itself up. It doesn't disappear, but it becomes a permanently... dormant gel."
The room falls silent as everyone thinks this through. Sure, the S-Virus sounds like a perfect weapon to use, but you can't shake the feeling that something will go horribly wrong.
Deceb sits back down as everyone looks at you. "So our final plans are: We send TNMS1 for recon while we boost our defenses and prepare for the attack. We send in a crew to cripple their Kkryonitte sources, limiting their resources and giving us the upper hand. Will we be using the S-Virus at all?"
