Author Topic: 2012/02/05 - Shadows and Shaders vs. Interiors and Terrain [Fan Art Too]  (Read 514988 times)

I think this would be a nice build for testing.  It'll show all these hater's how loving beautiful brick terrain can look with your new lovey shaders, and I really enjoyed this project.  It was one of my favorites.  I think you may like it too, it's a terrain build with a bunch of Demo/Default saves in ruins.  It was a work in progress, so there's a few unfinished bits, but there's a lot of nice places to take nice pics.

The file was too big for attachments, so if you don't dig Mediafire just tell me what hosting service and I can upload it there.

Oh yeah, I remember helping you with this.

I'm hoping the update will be applied soon enough, I am getting quite excited.

Before this update we haven't even had shadows on bricks at all.
We've had vehicle shadows. Does not really help much.
Anyways, I said it was a horribly comic.

What's your ingame name?

I believe it may have been DarkScorpion569 at the time.

I'm wondering if this interesting rendering occurance will be affected
i cannot comprehend what i am looking at

!! Did you make the pong stuff??

!! Did you make the pong stuff??

Yeah, that was fun, I remember adding as much stuff as I could to it.

It is not floating. This has been explained multiple times already.

Well a transparent brick is making it look like it's floating. Why is everyone so brown town about such trivial things?

Beautiful except that the dynamic lights still don't look so hot... unless it's just the picture.

You are blind, they are way smoother than they have ever been. They are a little hot (too bright so they are blowing out the scene in places). -- kompressor

I find this more appealing than "survival RP" because you actually have to climb and not hold w to go up a mountain.
