Author Topic: I need a simple Brick counting script  (Read 856 times)

Basically It's a number placed on the screen that increases every time you place a brick.

Like the Demo counter except it increases instead of decreases

Where on the screen? Is this client or server sided?

i'm pretty sure VCE has a variable for it, check its manual

yeah that works, but i think he means he wants a script, not having to event stuff everywhere he goes... :o

A counter on the add-on enabling screen for how many datablocks you'll be using?

that wouldn't really be possible any good way.

A client side brick counter on the corner of your screen would be nice actually.

yeah this would be possible client-sided.

It'd be possible without server support I'm pretty sure, but server support may make it better. I'm not sure if ghosting would make a difference if it were entirely client-sided or not, but I'm guessing it would.

So if I made this I'd have the normal client script then also a server-sided part that you can turn on for your server so people who have the client mod get a more accurate number. That is, if ghosting would affect this.
