Not rare, I have died several times wearing over a hundred real life dollars worth of gear. Its just part of the game.

Thats why I don't wear my expensive stuff until I'm completely maxxed out :-)

Theres pretty much 2 ways to get "rare" items.
You can farm Stat Potions and trade them for items, although its probably smarter for you to drink them yourself.
Or once you are confident with your character, doing a lot of damage to super bosses (like the cubegod, skull shrine, pentaract, or the mad god oryx)

Now, once your decked out in the best gear you can get from doing that, its time to attempt to get into the Wine Cellar. It can be opened by a rare key dropped by dungeon bosses after you kill Oryx, and it opens up another dungeon where you fight him again, but this time he drops the best gear in the game.

Also, RotMG has a lot of real life trading in it, and the devs dont care.
Here is what people will buy if you want to make some money off Realm

Potion of Defence = ~$1
(dropped by gods in the normal realm)

Amulet of Resurrection = $80
(sold for 14500 fame in the nexus)

Anything dropped by Oryx2 in the Winecellar = ~$50

High Level Unique items from dungeons = $20-$70

Problem with these processes are, I have literally no gear whatsoever.
So I can't even get good gear because I have no good gear.


As for Rwt, The only stuff I have of value is some Tf2 items, and that is limited as well.

Oh ok, well since your playing Rogue, you can skip step 1 and go straight for the Super Bosses, just bring a few mana pots and stealth in and do as much damage as you can and be careful not to get hit (come in from behind). You will start getting alot of items if you keep it up

Well, if you have starter gear then kill stuff in the forest around the godlands. Youll find good stuff if you stay in the area where the grass is yellow.

Got a lvl 20 priest now.

I remember I actually killed a god as a lv 12 rogue.
Bunch of people were fighting it, I stealth'd and made the final blow, took all the decent items fast and ran like forget B)
I'm going to add you guys to the Guild now, just be on
