Author Topic: [REQUEST] Gamemode ideas  (Read 1030 times)

I'm really bored and I want to start up a new gamemode I can work hard on.
So if it fits the guide lines and I like it, I'll pick my favorite one out of the top 5.

i saw something once on a server about a strategy TDM gamemode

maybe make an actual gamemode type where there is one person on each team who is randomly selected each round to be the "general". he has to open doors that lead his team into another area in order to defeat the enemy, and their fates rest in his hands

but since there are often alot of stupid kids picked to be general and they always make their team lose, it would be best to be able to choose between generals being voted on in addition to the option to being randomly selected, just be sure to make it so that people cant rejoin constantly to spam votes

This is actually a really good idea. Would it be turn-based, like one opens a door, everybody floods into the next room, then the other person goes, or would it be sorta RTS?

Naw, it's pretty legit.
It hasn't been done yet, but part of it has been sorta done.
Okay, it's just awesome.
Gotta start working on models soon.

how about this.

OpBlockland.
Everytime I type something into chat, a mission starts. The mission is specific and must be done correctly. Inbetween everything, there is just DM. there is only a few amount of people in the squad doing the mission, the rest of the people are civilians or terrorists. There are only 1 or 2 terrorists. The terrorists attempt to 1 - Destroy the mission and 2 - Kill the squad. 1 civilian is selected to be the target. Dead or alive. If the target is alive, then you are supposed to bring the target back to the helicopter. If it is dead, then you must assassinate the player. The terrorists would do the exact opposite.
