Recommend observation teams for insertion, should the ship's security be compromised they will intervene.

Distortion Rockets: An unholy union of signal jammers and high explosives, these rockets will fly in seemingly random patterns and provide low-level sensor jamming, making them very difficult to intercept. However, being a rather "gimmicky" weapon, they are best used alongside more conventional weaponry. Also, they are unguided, so their erratic flight pattern may result in them missing the target entirely.

Eclipse Rockets: Unlike the technologically sophisticated Distortion Rockets, Eclipse Rockets overwhelm point defense systems in a different way. Once they are close enough, the carrier rocket bursts open and releases a flurry of smaller rockets to overwhelm the target's countermeasures and bathe them in fire. Eclipse Rockets are unguided and ineffective versus armor, but they can easily disable external weapon systems or take advantage of an existing hull breach, not to mention their possible use as a screen of "cannon fodder" to keep the point defense systems occupied allowing the harder-hitting torcreepes to hit their marks.

Thermo Burst Rockets: Relatively simple, these are merely guided rockets. They don't hit as hard as missiles, but they're cheaper and more nimble. Handy for taking out fighters and unarmored weapon hardpoints, but not much else.
oh my god can you do more

oh my god can you do more
just rockets or other things

I wanna make sum warheads.

Warheads Available for all types of missile:

HE: High Explosive. Cheapest warhead by far. They do okay amounts of damage relative to their sizes.

Shaped Charge: High Explosive and a copper come combined to make a more damaging weapon. More effective against armor than regular HE.

Nuclear: Do great amounts of damage relative to there size. They also damage shield systems with radiation. These are, however, expensive, and usually well regulated in civilized space. Cannot be mounted on rockets.

Shrapnel: Tungsten ball bearings lined around an HE core. Devastating versus soft targets.

Thermo Fury: Thermite warhead. Burns clean through armor. Explosive radius is horrible, but if its payload touches you, ohhhhh if it touches you...

Kinetic: A non-explosive tungsten penetrator. These things have drastically reduced range, because their engines burn hotter to pick up speed. Cannot be used on torcreepes.

Kinetic Rage: A kinetic penetrator with a charge that explode after impact. Cannons be used on torcreepes.

Drill Missile: An unholy and unorthodox weapon designed by an idiot. Needless to say that same idiot is now sitting on lods ov emone after a major weapons manufacturer picked up on the design. Upon hitting the target, it will clamp on and start drilling though the armor. If the look of the missile doesn't make you stuff yourself, the sound of it drilling through armor and exploding will. And the prices of these will also make you stuff yourself. These are also extremely rare. They can not be infrared guided, and can not be used on rockets.

Tingalz wants ground vehicles/weapons

Gravitic Destructor Torcreep: Big, slow, and purple, these torcreepes have the potential to be one of the most destructive weapons in a ship's arsenal. Once launched, the warhead must reach a minimum safe distance before being activated, upon which it envelops itself in a field of crackling energy as it warps the very space around it and makes its way towards the target. When the energy field is disrupted, it creates a localized singularity; drawing in all matter within its grasp and converting it to energy, which is released in a colossal, superheated explosion. If it detonates in open space then heavy armor and shields (not to mention a lack of nearby mass) would likely reduce its effect greatly, but if it finds its way into a hull breach then it suddenly possesses the potential to crack warships wide open as the laws of physics as we know it are torn asunder.

Neutrino-Turret: Essentially a double minigun firing mass-shifted uranium nuclei, this projectile weapon is meant to shoot down incoming missiles, rockets, torcreepes, and fighters. Sustained fire has also been reported to be able to break an enemy ship's windows, however its usefulness in that regard is hotly debated among admirals.

Mega-Concussion Cannon: A relatively simple weapon, using an incredibly complex component. Critics call it "primitive" and "glorified 20th century artillery". Said critics' bones were then liquefied by the sheer concussive force of the projectile's detonation, as they declined to wear proper safety gear in the test bunker. The secret to its power lies in the shell, where old artillery shells used gunpowder, this one contains a compound called "rarified nucleon", which many physicists debate whether or not should even exist. What this weapon lacks in armor piercing, it makes up for with explosive force. Even against a fully shielded and armored opponent, a good hit from one of these will be knocking ensigns out of their chairs. Firing one at a population center violates several intergalactic treaties.

Whoever loaded the ramship onto the ARES server, I need you to swing by Scout's server by tomorrow at noon. If you cant make it then don't worry about it

Idea for Triage Protocols:

Tag System based on real life triage techniques. Tags should include identification and list injures.

Green Tag: Non-life threatening cuts, bruses, simple fractures, including hairline fractures. Victim is conscious, alert, able to walk on there own and in stable condition. Condition not expected to deteriorate for days.

Yellow Tag: Intermediate injuries, compound fractures, moderate concussion, victim may be bleeding. Potentially life threatening injuries. Victim's condition not expected to deteriorate either the next couple hours.

Red Tag: Victim has sustained life threatening injuries. Vital signs destabilized. Can be saved within 60 minutes if immediate action is taken. Victim not able to walk, most likely unconscious, and does not respond to stimuli, pain or otherwise. These victims are priority 1.

Black Tag: Victim is mortally wounded, most likely unconscious and will not respond to stimuli, not expected to survive more than a few minutes. Best course of action is to make the person comfortable and move on. If a black tag survives long enough for all of the red tags to be treated, they are prioritized next. This however, is highly unlikely.

White Tag: Victim is dead. No life signs, unconscious, massive mortal injuries. Attempt to re-open airway if victim's body is intact. If the victim breathes, reclassify as black tag. If not, victim is declared dead. No further attempt at revival should be made. Put the victim in a body bag with identification.

This might be helpful for the Navier RP.

if i was actually finished with the big ship im making now, i'd have it sit on the sidelines for intermission when both sides can just land and chill and stuff

you can use the main cargo bay to resolve your irreconcilable differences, and you may use the conference hall for drinking games.

wait
wait a second

is remousamavi's ship that giant one that i saw on the server preview a few years back and desperately wanted to check out? that one that i saw was huge.
the one that had the design that looked like this ship?

It's kind of like that, although it has wings instead of those tubes on the side

We on Dragonfly were wondering what those "Entertainment Staff" were really doing.

As the captain of this new winged vessel you have recently explored, I present you:

JFS Dragonfly

Dragonfly is a recreational/commercial aircraft with retrofit spacecraft capabilities. We mean you no harm :)

(PS: Sorry about the crappy quality of the picture; my transparency rendering is borked atm.)
(PPS: Edited so that you can actually see the shape of the thing, though my transparency is still having a bad day and will not fade properly.)

(I sincerely thought it was loving awesome, great work 10/10)

Yeah I figured that we shouldn't have equipped them with guns, sorry.
