Well, I've heard that doing reality checks in real life a lot can help you start doing them in you dreams. I've never tried it though.
That's what I've been trying to get into

Isn't lucid dreaming extremely unhealthy?
No, how could it POSSIBLY be unhealthy?

Can't you just go to sleep and then some way make yourself aware that you are dreaming?

Well, you need to sleep because essential maintenance can only be performed on your brain when it's inactive. Since it requires pretty much the entire frontal lobe to maintain consciousness, it seems like while the rest of your brain would be sleeping, the more essential parts to your mental well-being would still be awake.

I don't care how scary it is, I can handle it

I'm going to have a dream, but within that dream, i will fall asleep and have another dream within my dream, and take control of that dream, then sleep for a long time, wake up in my second dream, wake up in my first dream, then wake up in real life and have infinite sleep.

I had a dream once.

everything was white and the only thing besides me was a goat
it spontaneously changed colors if you touch it

I'm too scared to try sleep paralysis, so I'm going to try the thing where you mark your hand. I doubt it'll work but I can try.
