WoW Megathread
You may be asking yourself, "But why? Aren't there already several topics?!". The answer is, well, probably. I couldn't find any recent enough to bump and the advent of me being on these forums at least temporarily at the moment, I figured why not. As you can imagine, I knew what the game was and had friends who played it since it gained popularity at my school in around 2006. I didn't play very much until late 2009 when HPRC and Predator got me and my long time fella Slicksilver555 to play with them, and I've taken some breaks but now I'm for the most part active. Some of you may know us. Some of you may not like us. Either way playing World of Warcraft with me would be cool. Let's get right to it. In case you didn't already know here is some very basic information:

WowheadNow you're probably asking yourself, "Why should I? Doesn't it cost a lot?". The answer, again, is, well, probably. It depends on how harsh a $15 monthly fee would be on your (or let's be honest, your parents') wallet. In it's current state, with a new expansion on the way, buying vanilla WoW ($20) not only gets you, well, vanilla WoW, but you also get a free month of game time and most recently the Burning Crusade expansion for free. There is also of course the free trial but truthfully it isn't really that expansive and does teach you the basic ropes, but with help from the community (probably mainly me) you can learn more than that... you can do mediocre end game DPS, just like me! Another bonus is also the fact that if you use the recruit link I provide we will both receive 300% experience until level 80, or in other words, we will level really loving fast. At that rate we could be into Cataclysm in no time if you like the game. If you don't like it, what can you do?
Recruit-a-Friend*
Just shoot me a message with your e-mailI would hope at least some of you already play the game. Seriously. It's not really a small thing. If you do and are willing to help new players from Blockland, post here. The realm we will level on (if you so choose to do so with a schmuck like me) will be where my main (Night Elf Hunter, sorry hordies) is,
Duskwood-US. I do also have a horde warrior that is about to hit 85, so it's really up to you, I'm just drawing some basic guidelines. I honestly just want to play with a few new people and I feel like it could be genuinely fun. Anyway, if you DO already play, post here.

weird as stuff videos while I'm faded. I don't know, I think it's funny. But that's me. Anyway, a lot of the week I'll be locked to everything I'm interested in doing, and even if I'm not, I'd be glad to bring you along if at all possible. If you already play and want to do stuff, add me on Real ID (robo_noob@hotmail.com). Post anything and everything WoW related in this thread. That's about it for now, I'll add more to the OP as (if) this thread becomes more popular.
