Humanity? Why is it so hard for you to grasp that concept?

humanity is just fine thanks. still thriving.
oh wait you mean morals :cookieMonster:

They hardly even adress what the video is really about until the first eight minutes.

yeah, that was pretty annoying.
"people use facebook."

It's called a buildup.

Kony has actually spread out beyond just Uganda, his army is growing.

Taboo's mindset basically works like this.

The second anything ever receives universally positive acclaim from a large group of people, Taboo automatically picks the most contrary stance possible so that everybody looks at him and wonders why he's such a heartless douchebag. Afterwards, he spouts pseudo-philosophical jargon like this:
humanity itself is kind of a waste, since the effort spent on it could go towards something more productive easily.
in an attempt to seem deep and profound, when really he doesn't even have anything to say.

hey
hey
hey
have you ever considered
someone could ACTUALLY HAVE
an opinion that differs from yours???

Yes but it's fairly obvious that you're only taking that stance to seem unique. People do this every time media attention shifts to a tragedy like this, and they blame everyone on the popular side of falling victim to some sort of convoluted conspiracy or mass hysteria.

humanity itself is kind of a waste, since the effort spent on it could go towards something more productive easily.
If you're going to be like that then nothing matters. Energy is just energy and will always be the same, what it is used on makes no difference. Why should it matter if people help other people? There is no such thing as a waste.

I think that it is a good thing that the U.S. Government isn't doing anything about it. I am positive it is a terrible thing, but it's not the responsibility of the U.S. to poke their noses into other countries to stop someone that isn't a threat to the U.S. its self.

(sorry if this is off-topic to your current conversation, I'm just talking about things when I get to them)

can you even prove any of that?
there is nothing to suggest that is the case

things exist for the sake of existing.
i do have sympathy for some things, but not for a country i'll never be anywhere near or people i'll never see beyond this video.

vietnam "conflict" in a nutshell

vietnam "conflict" in a nutshell
Exactly.

Don't think that I don't want anything done about it, but I think that if someone really want's it done, they'll use the private sector to get it done, which means that people actually support it, not the 435 house members.

This is why we can't have nice things.

there is nothing to suggest that is the case
Let's see:
  • lack of an proper argument.
  • past incidences of this stuff
  • you probably aren't heartless enough to actually disparage innocent children's lives as useless
