Something is broken. Something is not right. But instead of thinking that Bioware has done this deliberately to us, we swung immediately into rage and hate and slammed them for the decision.

We are raging that Bioware betrayed our trust.

But we didn’t trust them.

I, myself, am guilty of this. And now that I sit back and think about it, about the games, about Bioware, all I can say is if that this is right, if this is what Bioware intended… If the true ending is yet to come…

They made a stuffty, terrible ending that takes all your major decisions made up to that point and then says "lol, thats cute" before blowing up all the mass relays. Indoctrination or no, it was forced and stupid as hell, and if the indoctrination theory is true then why the forget were they releasing an incomplete game for full price?

Nowhere in that does it say they made the ending 'stuffty on purpose'. It's saying something was 'not right' about the ending, as in, more than meets the eye. Fans immediately took it as a bad ending when in actuality it was the Reapers making this seemingly depressing scenario play out in Shepard's head. It went right over everyone's head. If you haven't seen this, watch it.

They should have done more as far as closure, but what we got was by no means bad, just incomplete. If they do release more to the ending as pay DLC, blame EA, not Bioware.

They intentionally created an ending that was "broken", that was "not right", and then completely failed to have any follow-up or explanation as to what the hell just happened. If that isn't a stuffty ending then I don't know what is.

I perfectly understand they have the opinions. I simply question why. Why do they see nothing wrong with the endings, what retorts do they have to the many arguments people have made about not getting what they deserve for their money.

It's generally considered perfectly all right to call the ones making a stand about their discontent bitchy complainers or whiners or whatever and yet I can't ask why one would disagree with them.

Personally, I had never played the last mission of a mass effect game until last week, but I still love them.

Seems they're making the change. I bet it will be a DLC that fans have to pay for. I hope that they keep the other endings so I can see for myself how it goes. I haven't gotten to it yet, but I want to see how those endings go. And if all you want to tell me is that it sucks, I get it, there's 19 pages filled with complaints. I'll read it when I get to the end as despite the no spoiler request, people posted a ton as is and I don't care to read any more than I had to see already.

it's funny, you guys aren't realizing at all they promised several things. your ending influenced by all of your actions, ending in either good, bad, or neutralish. they promised something different for each ending, not different colored explosions

they promised your choice would matter.

And this why I haven't purchased anything form EA since 2007. After butchering Command and Conquer, creating a buggy anti piracy software that remains in your computer after you unistall your game, and creating Origion which continues to be scan your computer after you unistall it(basically its a rootkit). In the future things are only going to get worse with EA, they will continue to buy out your favorite companies, milk titles, and try to take control of our computers. Still this hydra has a weakness and that weakness is money. If we all boycott ea, the beast will die and the plague will be over.
