A lot of what I've made or worked on in Blockland has been mock-realistic. That is my style, because I find taking realistic concepts and putting them in BL has this huge novelty factor with enduring entertainment value.
With this in mind, a lot of the things I have made in the past have been aimed at a niche portion of the community, and a demographic of people that barely exists. So either:
- It won't catch on because people don't understand where you are coming from
- The player base won't understand it and it'll cause confusion (how many kids understand the stock market?)
I personally would love it. I can see in my head scrolling prints going along a stock building with business names like "BLMA" and "MicroBlock" scrolling across it haha. But I don't think its something that will be embraced properly.

There was no stock market in the traditional sense. Just a system tracking resource value. Its not the same.
