Your brain is a series of chemical balances.  If it was against the body's natural urges, then people wouldn't be gay.\
People always find ways to cheat their bodies.

It is against most humans' natural hormones to like the same love.
If you want to be a scientist with it, you could say homoloveuality is a weakness in nature.

Thank you both for clarifying for me. It simply goes against my religious and moral values. However, there is a fine line between disagreeing with and hating something. I don't hate people who practice homoloveuality, nor do I disagree with them theirselves. I disagree the practice itself, not the people that do it. They can practice it if they want, and it's not like I can choose whether or not they do, lol.

Another point brought up by these last several pages is that someone like me can't have an opinion that differs from others without being called names like "tribal"/"family man"/"idiot". But of course that's something to be expected in life.

No, I don't "hate gays" or want to "kill cigarettes" or anything of the sort. That kind of behavior is unacceptable to me. I simply do not agree with the practice. The kid the OP described though is the kind of person who needs to learn to disagree rather than hate.
Alright, I thought you actually hated gay people.

Alright, I thought you actually hated gay people.
I don't really find it possible for someone to hate a group of people.

My grandpa hates all gay people.

Why?
I am a Christian, and in said religion, homoloveuality is considered an abomination. In the religion it is considered a sin just like murder and prostitution. However, it isn't something that should be reacted to with violence or hate.

in fact, jesus even stands up for a hooker once because people were going to kill her with stones, explaining how the people throwing the stones would be at most fault actually.
Quote from:  John Chapter 8
2 At dawn he [Jesus] appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” 8 Again he stooped down and wrote on the ground.

9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”

11 “No one, sir,” she said.

“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

In the religion it is considered a sin just like murder and prostitution.
Therefore, homoloveuals go to hell?

It's not too hard to find a worse, true meaning behind a wall of slight dislike.

I find it pretty safe to assume that if someone hates gays, it's because a 1000+ year old book told them too.
Honestly, is there even any debate against homoloveuals outside of religion?

Religion is the only pseudo-defense that could be used against homoloveuality.

Explain for a second how you can validate religious crusades and murder for a faith that has littleno proof to vouch for it's existence?

You have the loving internet dude, it's the most complete collection of human knowledge ever created. Do you really think the bible is correct over the research done that shows that there is either an environmental or genetic cause for homoloveuality and that these people aren't voluntarily loving ass?

Therefore, homoloveuals go to hell?
i don't practice islam so i suppose you could just as easily say that i would go to their hell too, but it's not like i'm forcing you to believe it.

The whole, "I have my opinion" argument doesn't work if you're trying to force it on people. I don't give a forget whether you believe in something or not, but you're asking for criticism by posting it on the internet.

The "what i say is fact and you only have an opinion" arguement doesn't work, either.

Is that directed to me or Planr?
