The beast on it's wings give chase, however you manage to distract and hurt it simultaneously by tossing a Big Bone conveniently lying on the ground, and then you grab a slab of meat in your inventory.
-1 food, -1 HP to beast.

Toss meat at beast, continue running.

With that done the beast swan dives toward these 2 particular slabs of meat and starts devouring them slowly, as if INTENSELY hungry. The tenacious beast then proceeds to the next slab.
-1 food, +2 health on beast.

The beast continues to pursue you only it's on foot now. You, The hapless paladin, realize that you are near the road now, and that you can hear the faint whispers of your friends. You approach the sounds, see them shocked by your presence as you dash towards them with the victim.
What shall you do?

Get the victim to run, turn and try for the beast's leg.

13. My dice are hot.

With my sword for the record

Luck streak wow.

You convince the victim to meet him later at the town, as he runs you reealize this:
You and your friends must face the beast, before it endangers anyone else. However you have the choice of abandoning all the innocent men to die.

The beast attempts to pounce on you, however (before your companions react) you dash up to it at the same pace. As you near it you clock it in the face with your steady hand, inflicting 5 damage, leaving it only with 29 health. This opens his stance for another attack.
What shall you do?
(Help this man he is clearly doing a great job)

Impale him through the chest quickly

17.

Okay I get the feel I'm about to get really bad luck really soon

Clocking a beast in the face sounds far more heroic.
Anyway I rolled for your sword, guess what? 20.
As his stance is open for attack, you charge at it again, With you're agility you manage to clock it in the stomach before it can claw you. After which you dash behind it, climb on it's back, and you behead it.
The beast has been slain, +80 exp to you good sir, for your valiance.

Oh, Imma just save that there 17 for the next time I need something.

Scan the body for anything useful.

The beast can be taken back to town and be sold as either a pelt or for meat. However the wings are definitely to be sold to the person who makes pelts.
What shall you do now?

"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!"

Meat looks grizzled and tough, let's take its pelt.

And its teeth for a badass necklace.

After 3 days of the incident you made considerable advances, you feel as if you have gotten stronger, and you have this necklace made of the beasts teeth. However you still have the beast's head to deal with.
Perhaps you should hollow it out and turn it into headgear for protection.

(None of you helped this man, you deserve none of the loot)
