Intercept

with a shotgun

So being Kolkoli, I ventured into the happy cave, because I like darkness.

Oh by the way, Drow have darkvision, allowing them to see in dark even better than their standard vision in the surface world.  So darkness is all cool beans.

Ok, back to story.  So as I was venturing deep into cave, I began to see signs of something living down here.  And then the cave walls turned into intricate marble hallways.  I continued down, being the fearless Drow that I am.  I hear something down the hall a ways.  I climb onto the ceiling, silently.

Climb - 13 + 5 dex

Move Silently 19 + 5 dex

I identify the creature as a Dark Faerie.  Faeries are humanoid characters, but with large wings which allow them to hover a few inches from the ground.  They are proficient with most any type of combat, hand-to-hand, general metal weaponry, bows, and magic.  The Dark Faerie variety are partial to dark environments, but they still enjoy classy places, so they tend to live deep in castle ruins or intricate underground systems.  Most Faeries have very good eye sight, but the dark faeries eyes aren't nearly as advanced as their cousins.  They make very special dark weaponry and even have a special spell scroll hidden in each of their location that they all read from after their 5th year.

If someone reads the scroll it transfers power to that person.  They become able to use the spell "Dark Rapture".  It shoots a beam of pure darkness that explodes on impact.  There are many different Dark Faerie colonies, and each has a scroll.  For the first scroll, the spell does 3d6 in a 10 by 10 foot range.  For each additional scroll you absorb, it doubles.  So if I have read 2 scrolls, It will do 6d6 damage in a 20 x 20 ft radius.  The spell can only be used once a day.

While assessing my knowledge, two more dark faeries approach the other.  One is unarmed, seemingly a mage, but perhaps a hand to hand fighter.  The other is a swordsman and wields a delicate black blade.  The final is a ranger.  It is holding a beautiful bow, made of condensed Dark Faerie Dust.

Seeing that I am totally hidden right now, I'd like to fire a chain lightning shot to try and take them all down.

Oh well to break the awkward pause, I rolled a 17, plus 4 wisdom

Oh well to break the awkward pause, I rolled a 17, plus 4 wisdom
You launch the attack, and the Faerie gets zapped, knocking all the faeries out almost instantaneously.
"Wait did you hear that?" were their final words before plasma energy, chained them together in a shocking turn of events.

14 + 6 = 20

You shoot the monster on the goat head, it's eyes pop, and it's horns fly as soon as the shells of your blunderbuss make contact with it's flesh. The beast writhes in agony, and It prepares it's second ball of lightning. Meanwhile on your side, Zadok, who was attempting to paralyze the beast with his mighty morning star, now has several pieces of brain on his side. YOur half equine friend replies: "Oh, oh that's just, eeeeeeeeeeew.".

Stab le head with lightning
*20 + 6 + 2 = 28*
As the monster is about to make a pass on the sweet, captivating Hetnah, the  noble steadfast Paladin Jumps up to the back of the monster. The monster, so surprised by this, fly's off with the paladin riding it. As soon as the flight is estimated 1km the paladin, runs on the furry back of the beast, and beheads it, leaving it in writhing, painful agony. The monster, what little of it's left, begins to fly in a much more violent rate, and attempts to shake you off. However, being an agile fellow, you swiftly, and nimbly follow the directions of it's flight quite easily. What you have done is a spectacular sight, and your companions quickly, make a makeshift trampoline, with young tender leaves. The lion head of the monster gets more, and more violent at each passing second, as it tries to drop you more fiercely. However you are far too skilled for it to be able to destroy you. Your companions pray, and pray, as you are now in the brink of destruction.
65 - 30 = 35

5 point palm dat madafakka.

Shot two arrows at the other two
*18 + 5 = 23(WHAT THE forget MAN)*
The other two, though rattled, begin to stand up, and attempt to fight yet again. However, Kolkoli, being the sadistic Happy go lucky bastard he is, shoots two arrows at the other two Faerie's heads. They both die, a horrible, mind numbing, event. The other however, continues to live. only it is unconscious.

5 point palm dat madafakka.
*20 + 6 + 2*
Double 20's WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
As you are in Mid air, you use all your strength and dexterity to overturn the beast, with that being said and done, you proceed to do the 5 point palm. Before the beast can turn itself again, you launch your first hit. Despite the size of the creature, you can hear his bones crackling, and his breath stifling. You hit it the second time, and this time, the sound of breaking can be heard, echoing through the sky. You hit it a third time, and it's chest, seemingly caves in. You hit it a fourth time and you twist your palm, a large chunk of flesh fly's out, carrying with it the soft chimeran fur. You carry the final blow, and you make contact with the center of it's chest. The sight is almost fantastic when viewed from the ground, as it's defunct heart and lungs get catapulted away from it's body. the organs hit the ground, splattering as they land, and the beast begins to fall to it's death.
Level up!
increase strength, NOW.

1 to Strength, 1 to Wisdom
Your palms harden, you feel that the damage you can do with the 5 point palm increases.

Oh BTW, you can only use 5 point palm two times a day, or else your palms break.

Although the beast is dead, and your companions are no longer in danger, you find that the beast is rapidly descending. It speeds up, at every turn of the clock. You have less than 2 minutes to escape.

Perhaps this wasn't a very bright idea.

Well um.

How royally forgeted up the ass am I.
