food is quite easy on the surface, you can't grow wheat underground

Aye, that's the second (there's 2) reason why my people ever go to the surface anymore. Like I said, building your entire village on the surface.

Also, mushrooms. I don't actually know what they do, though, since I've never built a mushroom plot before.

my initial reaction, after playing for five minutes, made a house, dug down, cleared out some area:
"what do I do with all this loving MUD"

why do my civilians just drop the bread on the ground after baking it
I made a stuffload of prepared food space
for that matter they also decide to drop wheat right at the farms instead of in the designated space (the designated space got like half full and they stopped filling it)

I'm gonna buy it to support these guys, I'm already having a hell of a lot of fun with Towns and I haven't even gotten into combat/immigration/advanced production (all I have for food in my towns is bread and apples lololol)
