Aang could have had two sons? I don't know.
Aang has had 3 children, and one of them is not a bender

aang getting busy in bed isn't a very fun mental image

I think its Aang, remember he broke the Avatar Cycle?
What if he thinks the world would be safer without benders?
They said he died in the intro for the first episode.

that was an interesting episode. I enjoyed the flashbacks.

unless Amon's story was a lie, which I'll quickly grab something from the wiki:
Quote
Amon was born on a small farm to a family of non-benders; nonetheless, they were extorted by a firebender. When Amon's father eventually confronted their oppressor, the firebender killed his family and severely deformed Amon's face, forcing him to "hide behind a mask" ever since.

he has no ties to Aang. but it is still possible that it was a false story to gain supporters.

AMON MIGHT BE BUMI, AANGS SON

Born to a family on non-benders.
Your argument is invalid.

I think that Amon must have some kind of spirit connection.  Btw Aang at 40 is pretty badass, I might add.

ok guys so i was watching this video that discusses each episode of LoK, and this guy said some pretty crazy stuff.

1.  Amon cannot energybend.  Aang's hand placement is different from Amon's.  Aang has his thumbs on both the forehead and the sternum, while Amon only has one hand on the forehead.

2.  There are only 3 more episodes left to Book One:  Air.  Korra has to learn air by the end of the season, but all the traditional methods aren't working for her.  One of the guys on the show suggested that she is going to find her own way to learn airbending, and in doing so, possibly create a more advanced form of airbending (like metalbending or lightningbending).  I think this is entirely possible.

It is all possible that Amon's ability is a special form of Chi-blocking.  Ever think of that?

Second, what special ability could Airbending have?  Compress air into a liquid and fake waterbend?

No idea.  But then again, firebending and lightning bending don't make much sense together, so maybe the advanced airbending wont make a lot of sense.

A special form of air bending could be sound bending or maybe pressure bending. :s

Maybe

but regardless air has to have one, because every other element has one.

Water - Blood (ice doesn't count)
Earth - Metal
Fire - Lightning

i'm betting she'll figure it out by the end of the final episode of the season, uses it to escape/something, then a plot twist, end credits.
then we'll wait for season two

she'll figure out the basics, I'm sure of that. as for a new more advanced technique, that could happen as the series progresses.

idk, korra seems to have a lot of potential.  during that pro bending match she just turned it on and went full airbending movement mode

I hate the sound when someones bloodbending.
