This country was founded on religion. Replacing the saying is just taking away what this whole country is about.

Noooope

Plus, "In God We Trust" didn't appear on paper money until 1957

we should mint them nearly blank. with the coin denomination on one side, and USA, 2012 on the back.

bam, lazy awesome coins

Religious dominance did this, not the founding fathers.

Although it wouldn't really matter to anyone who used money for its intended purpose and not gawking at a few words in small print.

Soon it'll be removed from the pledge and everything. I can see it happening

It's money. We have to make it as flashy as possible or else people won't think it's valuable!

It probably won't happen.

Which wasn't made until 1892

although, that's beside the point... Which this post doesn't really have

This country is a republic. You vote for the people who you believe will represent you. All the laws were put in place to protect you for a tyranic government, and the government was put in place to run services like road construction and the postal service. Sure they use the word god in many instances, but not purely religion. Just remember religous dominance is a dangerous thing in politics.

country was founded because of money

america doesn't want to be overtaxed
britain taxes them
battle

this is what most battles are about anyway, money

I think that we should just get rid of paper and coin money altogether.

We should have everything on a plastic card that says, "United States Legal Plastic."

Sure, for the first few hundred years people will go millions in debt, but eventually we'll get the hang of it.

forget it

let's just use virtual money

Except I don't know how that would really work in casual situations

America is a free country, and it allows all religions to be practiced, removing "In God we Trust" makes it seem less free

forget it

let's just use virtual money

well you can't hack real life
