"If it's not broke why fix it?"

It's not being fixed, it's being improved. Nice loaded question, starfishs.

"Our country is based on christian ideals, it must be on the dollar!"

No it's not. The first amendment states that we have Freedom of Religion. We can believe what we want, which also means we can believe in nothing.

Also Alyx Vance is a dumbass and literally every single thing he says is fallacious. Ignore him completely.

Weren't half of the founding fathers atheist anyway

Well Benjamin Franklin was Deist which is basically the equivalent of saying, "Religion as we know it from the bible/quran/torah whatever is total bullstuff but it's still plausible something actually created the universe"

who says that we are all snobs?
christians will be pissy and overreact to this and i really don't care about this issue

like the whole issue with birth control, this will turn out the same way

You have not been touched by his noodly appendage..

Que asian school girls.

America is overly religious? Yeah right. Most christians don't know anything about their religion. They just like screaming "Jesus saves you!"

Of course, I don't mean all christians.
christianity: the theme park version

Why does the whole "In god we trust" thing strike so many nerves?
Christians, Do you really look at your money? Would you really notice the difference?

This works both ways you know.

I hear more butthurt atheists wanting it removed than Christians not wanting it removed. I just think it would be a waste to remove it, the slogan is fine and atheists can QQ more over one line of text.

If the dollar bill said, "In Allah we trust" Christians, and other religions would want that removed.

The reason it was put there in the first place was because of a bunch of butthurt Christians wasn't it?

It's not our motto anymore therefore we should change the printers to have our current motto.

Possibly those who weren't Freemasons.

our motto should be "cuz we said so"

Afaik there were far less atheists back then so it wasn't really bothering everyone and seemed right.
