Author Topic: 3D stud plate bricks  (Read 1167 times)

Could someone make this?

It's like a plate brick made of 3d studs, it would be awesome.

Been playing Orange Block lately, gave me this idea

Those studs look waaay too round.
I don't even want to think about how many sides it has,

I rather hope it's possible to have a 3D stud that has no collision that renders with each and every single appropriate brick.

I doubt thats possible due to the whole dts thing.

I was talking about a model such as a tree, just except its a stud brick, it would come in 1x1, 2x2, and 4x4

What about the teledoor?

What about the teledoor?
Oh wait, I thought you meant by every single brick would have 3d studs. Ok, I understand.

I like this good idea. Go for it.

you could make a brick that is literally only studs - you could place these bricks on other bricks.

So you want to take a shape with 6 faces, and add somewhere from 1-500 more?
No thanks.

Think about your graphics card rendering the studs, this isnt about physics

who said anything about physics

who said anything about collision

why are bounding boxes relevant to how many sides the studs have any way

3D studs may be cool to have, and retail's version of studs would be a lot less vertex-demanding

retail's version of studs would be a lot less vertex-demanding

The current studs would only have 5 extra faces

Bounding Box is always about physics
