Well, I have good news and bad news.
The bad news:
The slopes are gone.
The good news:
The slopes are becoming...well...you deside weather this is good or bad:
The lava from the explosion at the slopes has cooled and hardened.
The ash from the explosion has also fetilized the soil in the slopes area.
It's caused grass and and some plants to start growing there.
The heat left behind from the eruptions has also helped the grass and plants to grow.
And with plants there, there must be water.
With hope, the water cycle+humidity will keep the heat there and prevent them to freexe again.
