aren't all assasins cred the same except more weapons and maybe new locations?
and as TB nicely put it "the combat is easy enough to be done by a trained monkey considering that it's almost impossible to die unless, of course, you fall asleep on your keyboard"

Kinda. Theres a huge jump whenever it goes from ac 1 to 2 or something but the trilogy of Ezio was pretty much that. They have pretty good stories though so its worth the new game.
