This is how I talk to people.

If they are a known idiot throughout the community, I ignore them.
If an starfish is being an starfish, I ignore them.
If a noob asks for help, I help them as much as I am capable of.
If some person insults me/argues, I argue back.

If someone is nice and seems cool, I talk to them and respect them.
