why is battlefury a core item on bounty hunter?

It helps him farm better, and the theory is its supposed to give him a better team fight presence.

So that when you pop up to nuke down the crystal maiden, the damage is spread to the nearby carry and ganker as well.

Honestly I dislike it, I prefer something like an orchid or just about anything else.

Unless there is an aoe disable lineup on my team (Earthshaker, TideHunter, etc.)

Seriously, Anybody have death prophet announcer / items? I want them, Let's talk business.

I might just throw mythical items at people until I get one.

like we have that many blocklanders playing dota
eh ill join it if i remember anyways
whats its name

Did some trading, And now i have everything i could ever want.

so I found out on days I play around 6 games, I will only win 2 and lose 4-5 of them.

I played 6 games yesterday, all solo queuing.
Guess how many I won.

Just play solo games and you'll get better, it's the easiest way. Practice makes perfect.

It worked for me at least. Biggest thing I did was never plan who I was going to play until I was in the game. Being able to pick the niche hero that completes the lineup not only lets you get better at all the different playstyles in general but you start finding synergy with heroes more often, giving stronger lanes and combos. Helps break the routine of only playing certain heroes every game as well.

I've only solo queued for the past few months :B

The friends I used to play with don't play as often (but still have 700+ hours played), but I do notice that I'm almost always shoved into the STR initiator-type role....not necessarily a bad thing, since I like Tide, but I do get bored of him sometimes.

I can try randoming more often to learn the heroes better.

ok now that i have a good computer and i can play dota at steady fps i can start to learn.

what are heroes that are for somewhat new players. i have like 10 games already. its not alot but i don't know much yet.

Skeleton King
Tidehunter
Drow Ranger
Razor
Zues
Lion

Those are 2 heroes from each Attribute which are the easiest I'd say.

Who to avoid:

Invoker
Spectre
Chen
Visage
Meepo
Lone Druid
Faceless Void

Those heroes are tough for new players, as they require tons of farm, good micro management, or are just plain tough to use when you start.

I feel like you forgot to add Lich, Or, maybe sven.

But that is just me :o

Lich was my first hero, but he probably avoided putting him up there because being a wardbitch means you need to know at least some ward spots.

Death Prophet is relatively easy.

Lich is such an important starter since it teaches you how key vision is compared to CS, why denying EXP from the enemy is such an advantage and how to position yourself to gank, initiate and not get caught out due to the nature that is his squishiness with no escape mechanism. It lets people know how useful armour is lategame, it helps teach mana management since you won't always have creeps to eat, but it lets you spam your spells to be effective throughout most of the game. Lich is easilly the most noob friendly and informative hero, giving a brand new player skeleton king is a bad idea since they won't know that % based skills suck early game, how to CS, how easilly he can get kited, how important his low mana pool is, and when they should go somewhere and when they shouldn't, even when they have a free respawn.
